how can i change to save my relationship?

my boyfriend says that I’ve been annoying lately because I’ve been acting like his mom. I don’t know how I’ve been acting this way but i would like to change so he doesn’t want to leave because he says that i am pushing him away. could someone please give me some helpful suggestions that might save my relationship?

    First of all, you would do well to work on your communication skills. Ask him to describe specific things that you have done or said that make him feel like you’re treating him like his mother. You can’t change without knowing specifically what you’re doing that he objects to. And if he cannot or will not answer your questions, you are better off without him.
